S1 Suite · Navigation
Navigation when GPS goes dark.
Position and heading with or without GPS — and it knows when GPS is lying.
The problem
When GPS goes dark, autonomy stops
- 01
The signal is faint
Satellite signals reach the receiver extremely weak. A cheap transmitter can drown them out across a whole harbour.
- 02
A lie is worse than silence
A fake signal is worse than none: the vessel keeps going — confidently, in the wrong place.
- 03
Everything rests on it
Uncrewed vessels steer, avoid hazards and report positions from GNSS. Lose it and the mission is over.
Sextant keeps a robot knowing where it is — with GPS, without it, and when it is lying.
What Sextant does
Sextant
Sextant keeps a robot’s position and heading from its own onboard sensors: with GPS, without it, and when it is lying. Built from the ground up for the moment GPS fails or is jammed — like the instrument it is named after.
GPS is just another sensor
Every sensor on board is fused into one trusted position. Sextant works the same with or without GPS, and only leans on it while it is healthy.
Jamming & spoofing detection
It notices when satellite positioning is jammed or lying, alerts the operator, and keeps navigating.
Calibrates itself in service
It keeps its own calibration up to date while the robot operates, so your crew never has to.
Plug-in sensors
Each sensor is a plug-in, so Sextant is customized to the sensors a platform already carries.
Multi-embodiment
Maritime first. Built for every platform.
Our first market is the sea. But the S1 Suite is not boat software: each sensor is aplug-in and each tool sits behind published interfaces, so Sextant and Autopilot are customized to the platform in front of them — hulls, wheels, legs or rotors.
Surface vessels
Crewed and uncrewed, in survey, patrol and inspection — coastal and harbour waters where GPS is unreliable or under attack.

Ground & legged robots
The same navigation and mission layers, customized for wheels and legs.
Aerial
Drones that need to know where they are when GPS is jammed.
One loop
How it fits the S1 Suite
Autopilot
Sextant tells Autopilot where the robot is, so missions keep running when GPS does not.
Helmsman
On a vessel, Helmsman steers on Sextant’s position and heading.
Basin
Every navigation claim is proven first in Basin, against a virtual sea we control.
Contact
Building a robot that cannot lose its position?
We work with USV builders, survey and port operators and dual-use integrators. Built in Taiwan, for coastal waters everywhere — if that sounds like your work, let’s talk.
